The Marshall Project

The Marshall Project is an American nonprofit news organization which covers the U.S. criminal justice system. Its mission is to influence the justice system throughout journalism, and states that its goal is to create and sustain a sense of national urgency about inequities within it. It is named after lawyer and Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.
