It was written by Bowie, and produced by British duo Brian Rawling and Gary Miller, with vocals produced by Bowie himself with Tony Visconti. The song was released on 16 September 2002, by ISO and Columbia Records. "Everyone Says 'Hi'" peaked at number 20 on the UK Singles Chart and also reached number 83 in the German Singles Chart.
