John Rankin (born 27 June 1983) is a Scottish football coach and former player, who manages Scottish Championship club Hamilton Academical. Rankin played as a central midfielder for Ross County, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Hibernian, Dundee United, Falkirk, Queen of the South and Clyde. Rankin also played once for a Scotland B team, in 2006.
