Early Life and Musical Beginnings Born in Fort Worth, and raised in Beaumont, Texas, Steven’s musical journey and connection to the magic of making music began at an early age. By age four, he was already performing “Jailhouse Rock,” and "Hound Dog," channeling his favorite artist, Elvis Presley. Steven attributes his musical influences from his father, Don McClintock, and his mother Erin Carol.
Collaborations and Productions Steven’s collaborations with Tim James Auringer led to the formation of McJames Music, Inc. in Orange County and Nashville. During their partnership exceeding 47+ years, McJames Music has produced multi-artist productions and a vast catalog of songs. Steven co-produced vocals for pop artist Tiffany and co-wrote fifteen of her songs, including “All This Time,” which reached #6 on the Billboard Pop Charts and earned Steven a BMI Millionaire Award.
